Job Description
Job Title: IT Coordinator Role Summary: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for clinical and administrative users in a healthcare setting, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and application issues, and collaborating with vendor partners to maintain and upgrade systems. Expectations: Deliver timely, professional support within SLA parameters; document all incidents and resolutions; maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare IT regulations; participate in IT projects and system deployments; provide end‑user training and guidance. Key Responsibilities: - Resolve end‑user tickets for clinical and administrative departments (hardware, software, network, application). - Monitor, triage, and close support tickets according to SLA. - Collaborate with vendors to support cloud‑based systems (Azure, Office 365). - Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of EHR/EMR, VOIP, and other applications. - Participate in IT projects: system upgrades, migrations, office moves, new technology rollouts. - Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and support resolutions. - Ensure HIPAA compliance and adhere to cybersecurity best practices. - Provide training and guidance to end‑users on system usage and best practices. Required Skills: - 1–2 years of IT support experience in a business environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and general IT infrastructure. - Experience troubleshooting clinical systems and handling change requests. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in healthcare. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Office 365) and mobile device management. - Understanding of identity and access management. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer‑service skills. - Ability to document and resolve issues within defined SLAs. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). - IT support certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, or equivalent) preferred.
