Job Description
Job Title: Senior Software Procurement Buyer – H/F Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end procurement of enterprise software solutions (Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, etc.) for large corporate clients. Analyze and optimize contracts, negotiate terms with vendors and resellers, and drive cost savings. Provide strategic recommendations that align IT acquisitions with business objectives. Expectations: • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software or IT contract procurement. • Proven record of negotiating with software publishers or resellers and managing complex IT contracts. • Strong analytical ability, financial acumen, and attention to detail. • Ability to influence decisions for high‑profile clients and deliver tangible operational impact. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collect and analyze operational and technical data to assess current software usage and licensing status. 2. Review, interpret, and amend software contracts (including Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, etc.) to ensure compliance and optimal terms. 3. Model cost structures, calculate potential savings, and quantify financial impact of procurement decisions. 4. Draft and present technical, financial, and contractual recommendations to clients. 5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (IT, finance, legal) to align procurement with broader business strategies. Required Skills: • Advanced negotiation and communication skills. • Strong knowledge of software licensing models, vendor contracts, and IT procurement processes. • Proficiency in data analysis, including use of tools such as Excel, Power BI or equivalent. • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights. • Self‑directed, results‑oriented mindset with the capability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related discipline. • Professional certifications in procurement or IT contract management (e.g., CIPS, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent) are a plus but not mandatory.
