Job Description
Job Title: Operations Engineering Intern Role Summary: Short‑term internship (10‑12 weeks) focused on wind, solar, battery, and electrical power system projects. Interns support performance monitoring, reliability enhancements, retrofit and repair planning, and root cause analysis to optimize asset safety, performance, and longevity. Expectations: - Undergraduate junior or senior, 3.0+ GPA, authorized to work in the U.S. - Strong analytical mind; familiarity with data analysis and at least one programming language. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, good written/organizational skills, self‑starter, curious, team‑oriented. - Interest in renewable energy and engineering concepts. - Willingness to travel to at least one U.S. operating site. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and evaluate operational performance of wind, solar, and battery assets. - Identify and recommend design or operational modifications to improve safety, performance, and long‑term reliability. - Conduct root‑cause analysis and develop remediation plans for defective equipment. - Assess system end‑of‑life extension and repower opportunities. - Participate in planning, coordination, budgeting, and supervision of on‑site and off‑site retrofit and repair activities. - Review change requests, design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility. - Travel to operating sites for data collection and project support. Required Skills: - Data analysis and basic programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar). - Advanced Microsoft Excel usage. - Strong written communication and documentation. - Organizational and time‑management abilities. - Self‑motivation and collaborative teamwork. **Job title** Operations Intern (Hybrid) **Role Summary** Support the development and enhancement of work‑order management and KPI tracking for a renewable‑energy portfolio.
