Job Description
**Job title:** Business Development Partner **Role Summary:** Strategic sales leader focused on expanding revenue and deepening partnerships in the power, grid, and transportation sectors. Collaborates with technical and commercial teams to design value‑driven solutions, represents the organization at industry events, and drives growth through existing and new customer relationships. **Expectations:** * Build and sustain long‑term relationships with utilities, grid operators, OEMs, and other stakeholders. * Act as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador at conferences, standards committees, and industry forums. * Deliver measurable sales growth by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones. * Provide timely resolution of customer issues and continuously improve internal processes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Drive revenue growth by strengthening current accounts and proactively winning new business. * Lead end‑to‑end customer engagements in partnership with marketing, legal, and technical teams. * Collaborate with technical experts to scope projects, negotiate agreements, and ensure solutions align with client goals. * Represent the organization at conferences, standards committees, and industry events. * Develop and execute targeted prospecting strategies for high‑potential prospects in the power industry. * Manage business‑development project timelines and initiatives in alignment with senior leadership. * Respond swiftly to customer concerns, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty. * Provide constructive feedback to enhance internal processes and customer experience. * Maintain in‑depth knowledge of products, services, policies, and pricing structures. **Required Skills:** * 6–8 years of sales, business development, or customer‑facing experience in utilities, consulting, or related fields. * Proven track record of revenue growth and long‑term client relationship management. * Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex technical information to executive audiences. * Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management capabilities. * Commercial acumen and business‑savvy decision making. * Ability to work collaboratively with senior decision makers and technical teams. * Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive “hunter” approach to B2B prospecting. * Flexibility to support evolving business priorities and travel to customer sites. **Required Education & Certifications:** * University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience. * Valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing.
