Job Description

**Job Title:** Financial Analyst - Year Round **Role Summary:** Support financial health and strategic decision-making through financial modeling, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a seasonal business environment. **Expectations:** Deliver accurate financial insights, optimize revenue and costs, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. - Conduct scenario analysis to assess impacts of external factors (e.g., market trends, weather). - Analyze revenue streams (lift tickets, dining, lodging) to identify growth opportunities. - Recommend pricing strategies and cost-saving measures to improve profitability. - Prepare monthly financial reports, MD&A, and weekly dashboards for leadership. - Evaluate capital projects via feasibility and ROI analysis. - Partner with departments (operations, marketing) to align financial goals with business objectives. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI. - Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities. - Knowledge of accounting principles/GAAP. - Data accuracy and attention to detail. - Effective communication and collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred). - 3+ years financial analysis experience in hospitality/tourism/leisure. - Proficiency in financial planning and capital investment analysis.
