Job Description: **Job Title**: Lead Data Scientist **Role Summary**: Client-facing leadership role requiring technical expertise to design and deliver data science solutions in analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling for complex business challenges. **Expectations**: Minimum 8 years’ experience in data science, including 2–3 years in a lead or principal role. **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead end-to-end data science projects from exploration to deployment. - Advise stakeholders on data strategies, problem definitions, and solution design. - Mentor data science/engineering teams; establish best practices for modeling and validation. - Develop predictive models, optimization frameworks, and machine learning algorithms. - Create data visualizations for storytelling and decision support. - Communicate technical and business insights to senior stakeholders. - Integrate data science models into digital products through cross-functional collaboration. - Monitor and optimize model performance in production environments. **Required Skills**: - Applied machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics. - Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, PyTorch/TensorFlow). - SQL; experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks) preferred. - Model deployment and MLOps practices. - Data visualization for stakeholder communication. - Client-facing presentation and technical communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications**: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
