Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer – HFT Crypto Trading Platform Role Summary: Own automation, reliability, and delivery of a next‑generation high‑frequency trading (HFT) platform for a global crypto client. Manage infrastructure across AWS and bare‑metal, ensuring zero‑downtime deployments and low‑latency operation in a multi‑regional environment. Expectations: • Proven DevOps/SRE experience in complex, high‑availability production systems. • Hands‑on mastery of AWS services and bare‑metal deployments. • Expertise in at least one IaC tool (Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Ansible). • Demonstrated ability to automate deployments with minimal downtime. • Strong Linux administration, scripting (Bash, Python), monitoring, and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS and bare‑metal. • Develop and maintain IaC scripts for rapid, repeatable provisioning. • Enhance CI/CD pipelines to support safe, automated change in a high‑frequency trading context. • Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and resolve incidents across multiple regions. • Collaborate with developers, traders, and quants to achieve fast, reliable feature delivery.
