Job title: Data Analyst
Role Summary: Execute data analysis and model complex supply chain datasets to deliver actionable insights, enhancing operational performance, planning, and reporting across manufacturing, logistics, and inventory functions.
Expectations:
- Proven expertise in DAX, SQL, and Power BI with a track record of developing scalable, governed analytics solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing, production, and supply‑chain concepts.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into clear business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret complex supply‑chain data to flag trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI datasets, dataflows, and semantic models using Power Query (M), DAX, and SQL.
- Validate data sources, transformations, and calculations against reference data ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of KPIs.
- Build and optimize DAX measures for operational, financial, and performance reporting, prioritising efficiency and reusability.
- Produce and upkeep documentation for business requirements, data models, metrics, and reports.
- Collaborate with supply‑chain, operations, and business partners to deliver ad‑hoc analyses, dashboards, and insights aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in DAX (complex measures, calculated tables, performance optimisation, time‑intelligence).
- Strong command of Power BI, Power Query (M), and SQL for end‑to‑end analytics pipelines.
- Solid understanding of supply‑chain, production, or manufacturing environments.
- Analytical problem‑solving and effective written/verbally communication abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably within supply‑chain, manufacturing, or operations contexts.
