Job Title: DevOps Engineer III
Role Summary:
Lead DevOps initiatives for a multi‑cloud environment, managing OpenShift clusters, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced observability across Azure and AWS. Drive automation, security, and AI/ML workload support on Kubernetes platforms.
Expectations:
- Minimum 10 years total DevOps experience, 8 + years on Azure/AWS, 5 + years Terraform/Ansible, 5 + years Kubernetes.
- Proven leadership in cross‑functional delivery, bilingual proficiency preferred (English required, French an asset).
- Strong hands‑on ability to design, secure, and scale hybrid cloud architectures and CI/CD workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage & scale OpenShift clusters for high availability.
- Author, review, and maintain Terraform IaC for Azure and AWS multi‑cloud environments.
- Automate system configurations and application deployments with Ansible.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions; enforce branching and release strategies.
- Architect Azure hub‑spoke networking and AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security groups.
- Deploy and manage Istio service mesh; monitor traffic with Kiali and Jaeger.
- Implement GitOps workflows for Kubernetes using ArgoCD, Helm, and Kustomize.
- Orchestrate cloud resources with Crossplane and manage GPU‑enabled nodes for AI/ML workloads.
- Monitor metrics and logs with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki; create dashboards and alerts.
- Utilize ACM and ACS for multi‑cluster management and security posture.
- Apply OpenShift AI add‑on for AI/ML model deployment and scaling.
Required Skills:
Must Have – OpenShift cluster management, Terraform IaC, Ansible automation.
Nice to Have – Azure hub‑spoke architecture, AWS networking, GitOps (ArgoCD), CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), Istio/Kiali/Jaeger, Helm, Kustomize, Crossplane, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ACM, ACS, GPU/AI workload management.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years DevOps experience.
- 8+ years cloud platform (Azure, AWS) experience.
- 5+ years Terraform & Ansible proficiency.
- 5+ years Kubernetes experience; CKA certification (preferred).
