Lead Engineer, Applications – Edifecs/QConnect (Remote)
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑level application systems using Edifecs, JavaScript, and SQL. Lead architectural decisions, ensure stability, scalability, and security, and guide cross‑functional teams through full project lifecycles while adhering to corporate standards and best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and code enterprise applications (web and mobile) meeting business objectives.
- Gather requirements and create conceptual and technical designs for multiple concurrent projects.
- Conduct feasibility analyses of system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling constraints.
- Lead architecture and design discussions, ensuring alignment with software development standards.
- Perform peer reviews to enforce quality and coding standards.
- Evaluate build‑versus‑buy options and present solutions to technical review committees.
- Support system owners with performance monitoring, budgeting, and capacity planning.
- Manage and coordinate cross‑team project tasks, deliverables, and documentation.
- Provide feedback on people, processes, and technology for continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
- Strong hands‑on development experience with Edifecs, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure enterprise applications.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and architectural governance.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, conduct peer reviews, and mentor developers.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a focus on end‑to‑end business solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across technical and business teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of IT technical experience in enterprise environments; 3+ years of hands‑on implementation experience.
- Industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or relevant Edifecs certifications) preferred.
