Job Description

**Job Title** Senior Data Scientist **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end development of supervised machine learning products that drive engagement, churn prediction, and lead scoring for financial clients. Own model lifecycle from feature engineering and data pipelines to deployment and validation, ensuring measurable ROI and seamless integration with the TIFIN platform. **Expectations** - Deliver production‑ready ML models within 6–12 month cycles. - Demonstrate proven impact through A/B testing and statistical experimentation. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product, client success, and leadership to align model outputs with business goals. - Exhibit adaptability, resilience, and fluency in early‑stage startup environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, train, and validate supervised ML models for engagement, churn, and conversion metrics. - Build and maintain feature stores, ETL pipelines, and batch transform jobs using cloud services (AWS Sagemaker, Redshift, S3; or Snowflake). - Work with engineering to integrate models into the platform and oversee deployment pipelines. - Develop human‑in‑the‑loop workflows that support advisors and other user personas. - Create data visualizations and communicate insights to stakeholders, emphasizing business impact. - Manage product development schedules, mitigate blockers, and coordinate expectations across internal and external teams. **Required Skills** - 4+ years in applied data science with Python, SQL, and DBT. - Full product lifecycle experience: feature engineering, model training, hyperparameter tuning, and production deployment. - Proficiency in cloud ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Redshift, Snowflake) and data warehousing. - Strong statistical reasoning, including A/B testing, RCTs, and risk assessment. - Excellent communication and visualization skills. - Ability to prioritize, drive deadlines, and operate in a fast‑paced, startup‑like setting. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field. - Professional certifications in data science or cloud platforms are a plus but not mandatory.
