Job Description

**Job Title:** Merchandiser (Field‑Based, Remote – Houston, TX) **Role Summary:** Execute in‑store merchandising for a non‑alcoholic beverage brand across the Houston metropolitan area. Maintain product placement, stock levels, and visual standards while traveling daily on a designated route. Position is a temporary contract through December 2025. **Expectations:** - Work 6 am – 2 pm, including weekends as needed. - Travel up to ~30 miles from home; use personal vehicle (fleet reimbursement available). - Maintain clean driving record and valid driver’s license. - Perform physically demanding tasks (stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb). **Key Responsibilities:** - Stock and display products according to company standards in large‑format, chain, and independent stores. - Rotate inventory using FIFO method to prevent expiration. - Remove dented, damaged, or out‑of‑code product; report to internal stakeholders. - Ensure all point‑of‑sale materials, fridges, and racks are presentable and up‑to‑date. - Communicate store‑level opportunities and issues to the sales/operations team. - Document and notify pickup or exchange needs for out‑of‑stock or damaged items. **Required Skills:** - Self‑starter with strong independent work ethic. - Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic knowledge of retail environment and merchandising practices (preferred). - Ability to follow visual and compliance guidelines accurately. - Physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lb. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum age: 18 years. - Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. - Reliable, insured personal vehicle. - Prior field merchandising experience preferred but not mandatory.
