Job Title: Automation Tester
Job Description: **Job Title:** Automation Tester **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web applications, ensuring quality and reliability through efficient test frameworks and continuous integration pipelines. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, maintainable automated tests in a fast‑moving Agile environment. - Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in test automation. - Collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD workflows. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and refactor automated test suites using Python, PyTest, Playwright, and/or Cypress. - Implement object‑oriented design and appropriate design patterns for test frameworks. - Develop BDD scenarios with Cucumber/Gherkin and integrate them into test pipelines. - Configure Jenkins pipelines and Docker environments for consistent test execution. - Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders. - Perform performance testing with Locust or JMeter as needed. - Use Git for version control and Jira/Xray/Confluence for issue tracking and documentation. **Required Skills:** - Strong programming in Python (OOP, design patterns). - Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent web automation tools. - BDD experience (Cucumber, Gherkin). - CI/CD tooling knowledge (Jenkins, Docker). - Familiarity with Git, Jira, Xray, Confluence. - Optional: Performance testing with Locust or JMeter. - Agile mindset, self‑motivation, meticulous attention to detail. - Fluent in technical English; French is mandatory. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 3 years of test automation experience in a similar role.
