Job title: HR Director – Europe Role Summary: Spearhead the development and execution of people strategy for a premium fashion retailer across Europe, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and fostering a high‑performance, inclusive culture. Expactations: • Deliver a cohesive people strategy that supports growth and transformation. • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Global HR Director. • Champion cultural change, engagement, wellbeing, and diversity across the organization. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing HR team. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement a people strategy aligned with corporate business goals. - Partner with regional and global CEOs and senior stakeholders to drive organizational effectiveness and long‑term talent planning. - Oversee all HR functions: employee relations, performance management, learning & development, reward and compensation, and organizational design. - Advise on change management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives. - Embed and reinforce the brand’s culture and core values across all levels. - Ensure compliance with UK employment law and global HR best practices. - Recruit, coach, and retain a top‑performing HR team, fostering continuous improvement and innovation. Required Skills: - Senior HR leadership experience (Head of or Director level) in a complex, fast‑paced retail environment. - Strategic thinking with proven ability to translate business goals into actionable people initiatives. - Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills. - Demonstrated success driving cultural change and embedding values. - Deep knowledge of UK employment law and contemporary HR best practices. - Proven team‑leading experience with a track record of delivering results through others. - Business acumen, resilience, and a balance of strategic vision with execution. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (Master’s preferred). - Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) highly desirable.
