Job Title: Senior Director of Engineering – Enterprise Applications
Role Summary
Lead the design, execution, and scale of cloud‑native enterprise applications that modernize global supply chain operations. Own the technology vision, architecture, and engineering culture to embed AI, advanced analytics, and automation into demand planning, supply planning, order management, and logistics. Drive digital transformation across business units, ensuring measurable business value, cost optimization, and continuous delivery excellence.

- Deliver end‑to‑end cloud migration and modernization projects that meet or exceed defined KPIs for efficiency, cost savings, and customer experience.
- Build and mentor high‑performing engineering and DevOps teams, fostering Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and a product‑engineering mindset.
- Align executive stakeholders and cross‑functional partners around technology priorities, ensuring solutions support business strategy.
- Act as a visible change agent, accelerating enterprise‑wide adoption of digital supply chain capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define and execute a cloud‑first strategy for enterprise supply chain platforms.
2. Architect scalable, secure, event‑driven cloud ecosystems using SaaS, PaaS, microservices, APIs, and serverless patterns.
3. Lead modernization of ERP, planning, and logistics systems through cloud migration, API integration, and AI/automation.
4. Champion the adoption of AI/GenAI, intelligent automation (RPA), and real‑time analytics to eliminate manual workflows and improve forecasting.
5. Build and mentor engineering and DevOps talent; implement Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD best practices.
6. Partner with supply chain, operations, and other business units to create real‑time, end‑to‑end solutions.
7. Own program delivery, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and quality of global technology services.
8. Evaluate, negotiate, and manage cloud platform, SaaS, and engineering service vendors to optimize cost and value.
9. Drive change management and cultural adoption of digital capabilities across the enterprise.
Required Skills
- Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native design.
- Experience modernizing ERP, planning, and logistics platforms.
- Strong background in data engineering, event‑driven systems, and real‑time analytics.
- Proven leadership of large, distributed engineering and DevOps teams.
- Expertise in AI/GenAI, RPA, and automated forecasting.
- Vendor management, cloud cost optimization, and strategic partnership development.
- Deep understanding of supply chain processes (OTC, LEO) and enterprise planning platforms (Blue Yonder, O9, Logility).
- Collaborative, stakeholder‑engaged leadership style.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced certifications preferred:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional / Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified ScrumMaster or PMI‑ACP (Agile)
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent service‑management credential
• AI strategy or data‑science certification (e.g., Microsoft AI Engineer, Google Cloud AI/ML).
