Job Description
**Job Title:** Operations Analyst **Role Summary:** Support the transaction lifecycle and reconciliation functions within a brokerage environment. Ensure efficient, exception‑based processing, conduct root‑cause analyses, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to automation initiatives. **Expectations:** - Operate within the target operating model, ensuring all processes meet governance and regulatory standards. - Demonstrate proactive ownership of tasks, quickly learning new applications and procedures. - Deliver high‑quality work with strong attention to detail, maintaining accurate records and timely reporting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor clearing, settlement, option expiry, and exercise processes, addressing issues and conducting root‑cause analyses. - Remedy exceptions in exchange reporting and regulatory reporting (MiFID/EMIR), resubmitting corrected data. - Complete trade settlement, expiration, and assignment activities. - Manage static data processes, ensuring integrity for downstream reporting. - Oversee counterparty, regulatory, and inter‑system reconciliations; build and maintain reconciliations in Duco (or equivalent). - Report reconciliation breaks to management, adhering to governance requirements. - Participate in UAT and implementation of new products/projects. - Produce and update operational processes and procedures. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain relationships. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 2+ years of operations experience in a brokerage setting. - Knowledge of transaction lifecycle management (trade settlement, expiration, option exercise, assignment). - Understanding of reconciliation processes and static data management. - Experience with post‑trade and reconciliation applications (XTP, Spectrum, Duco, or similar). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and investigative skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Proactive, quick learner, and able to drive process improvements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
