**Job title:** Principal Artificial Intelligence (AI) Security Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the development of AI‑driven threat detection and prevention solutions for enterprise cybersecurity. Design, build, and optimize machine‑learning models and integrated tools that identify, predict, and mitigate AI‑specific threats while ensuring compliance with global security standards.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of AI expertise applied to enterprise cybersecurity.
- Proven hands‑on development of AI security solutions (intrusion detection, anomaly detection, threat intelligence).
- Significant experience with cloud native services (Azure or AWS).
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, R, Java, or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 42002, OWASP top 10 for large‑language models).
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design, develop, and refine AI‑specific threat models, tools, and workflows for detection, prediction, and prevention.
2. Implement and secure machine‑learning models and neural networks to enhance threat detection, monitoring, and risk scoring.
3. Integrate AI security tools into end‑to‑end cybersecurity architectures in collaboration with data scientists, security engineers, and stakeholders.
4. Analyze incident data, drive continuous improvement of AI models and methodologies.
5. Ensure adherence to industry standards and advanced security architecture guidelines (Agentic, MCP).
**Required Skills:**
- Python, R, Java (or equivalent) programming.
- Deep understanding of machine‑learning and neural‑network concepts applied to security.
- Hands‑on experience with AI security technologies (intrusion detection, anomaly detection, threat intelligence).
- 3 + years cloud native expertise (Azure or AWS).
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 42002, OWASP top 10 for LLM security.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications:
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework or equivalent certification.
- ISO 42002 Practitioner (or equivalent).
- OWASP Secure Coding or Security Best Practices.
- Cloud security certification (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent).
