**Job title**
Business Analyst – Regulatory Change
**Role Summary**
Provide analytical and project support to ensure regulatory compliance for operational business changes. Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technology/deployment teams, translating regulatory and business requirements into functional specifications and measurable outcomes.
**Expectations**

- Manage stakeholder expectations, challenge constructively, and lead workshops.
- Deliver high‑quality artefacts within an Agile/Waterfall mix, maintaining traceability and governance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Elicit, analyse, document, and maintain functional, non‑functional, technical, and MI requirements with full traceability.
- Define and control project scope, estimate effort (t‑shirt sizing), and shape business cases.
- Create and maintain core product artefacts (BPMN, wireframes, use cases) and conduct DPIAs/DPAs.
- Contribute to Programme Plan, prioritise Sprint Backlog, and decompose requirements into Epics/Features.
- Develop clear user stories and acceptance criteria; support agile design, prototyping, and continuous estimation refinements.
- Support testing: align scripts, perform pre‑release verification, lead Show & Share sessions.
- Provide application support for core systems; manage production incidents, tickets, and root‑cause analysis.
- Participate in out‑of‑hours releases, post‑implementation verification, and early‑life support.
**Required Skills**
- Regulatory experience in finance, mortgages, insurance, or related sectors.
- Business change and technology exposure (preferred).
- Proficiency in use case creation, UML/BPMN, use of Agile/Scrum practices.
- Strong analytical mindset, structured documentation, and traceability.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication.
- Effective stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and constructive challenge.
- Familiarity with DPIA/DPA, data protection controls, and governance frameworks.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are preferred.
