**Job Title**
Group Head of Testing
**Role Summary**
Senior strategic leader responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide test strategy, managing a team of test engineers, and ensuring high‑quality, compliant releases within a cloud‑enabled DevOps environment.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a modern automated testing framework that supports continuous integration and delivery.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration with product, engineering, and business units.
- Champion a continuous quality culture and maintain adherence to IT change and operational standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define, communicate, and evolve the organization’s test strategy for major projects and programmes.
- Lead and develop the test engineering capability, including talent management and skill development.
- Select, deploy, and operationalise appropriate test tools (e.g., Postman, AccelQ, Azure DevOps, AutoRabit).
- Drive integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure comprehensive coverage of functional, regression, load, performance, security, and persona‑based testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on test strategy and tool adoption.
- Maintain strict compliance with IT change, operational policies, and external standards.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience leading test engineering teams across multiple delivery streams.
- Expertise in automated test suite development for complex web applications (happy/unhappy paths).
- Strong background in agile practices and embedding automated testing into CI/CD (Microsoft Azure DevOps, AutoRabit).
- Familiarity with Salesforce, nCino, Azure APIs, Thought Machine Vault, or equivalent enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with testing tools/frameworks such as Postman, AccelQ.
- Comprehensive knowledge of functional, regression, load, performance, security, and persona testing.
- Cloud infrastructure experience, particularly Azure, and DevOps processes.
- Results‑oriented, deadline‑driven, self‑starter with excellent collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, Certified Scrum Master, Azure DevOps Engineer Associate) are desirable.
