**Job Title:** Quantitative Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Develop, refine, and deploy statistical and machine learning models to predict sports outcomes, analyze player performance, manage risk, and create new betting markets. Collaborate with data engineering and performance analysis teams to optimize data pipelines and model performance across core betting, derivatives, and micro‑markets. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑accuracy predictive models and risk assessments that support profitable betting strategies. - Innovate and modernize modeling tools and methodologies to maintain competitive advantage. - Communicate complex model concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of analytical processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and tune models for match outcome prediction, player statistics, risk management, and new market offerings. - Design and implement risk models to optimize exposure and ensure sustainability. - Develop derivatives and micro‑market models to expand product portfolio. - Modernize modeling technology stack, evaluate new tools, and improve scalability. - Work with data engineering to optimize data storage, retrieval, and acquisition for model development. - Document methodologies, assumptions, and results for transparency and reproducibility. - Collaborate with performance analysis to identify model improvement opportunities. - Stay current with industry trends and advanced analytics techniques. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in C# and Python. - Advanced knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning, and AI modeling. - Strong data retrieval, statistical analysis, and SQL skills. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. - Proven problem‑solving and justification of modeling choices. **Required Education & Certifications:** - PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or related STEM field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in a quantitative modeling role. **Preferred (Bonus) Experience:** - Sports betting industry exposure. - Leadership/mentoring experience. - Experience with data engineering and advanced ML/AI model deployment.
