Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑availability back‑end services for a fintech platform. Lead a team of engineers in implementing microservices, event‑driven workflows, and cloud‑native infrastructure that support scalable loan origination and account opening processes. Drive code quality, performance tuning, and continuous innovation, including AI‑assisted development tools. Expectations: - Deliver clean, testable code that meets functional and non‑functional requirements. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, QA, DevOps, and SRE to ensure reliable deployments. - Mentor junior engineers and influence architectural decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Build and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Micronaut. - Implement event‑driven architectures with Temporal or ActiveMQ and integrate asynchronous workflows. - Design data models and optimize storage on PostgreSQL and Redis. - Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes and AWS, ensuring resilience and scalability. - Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git), and performance tuning initiatives. - Incorporate AI‑powered coding assistants to improve productivity and code quality. Required Skills: - 8+ years of back‑end software development experience (SaaS/FinTech). - Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Micronaut, and RESTful API design. - Experience with microservices, event‑driven architectures, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. - Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and distributed systems. - Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git) and Agile workflows. - Effective problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
