Job Description: Job Title: Software Engineer – Wasabi AiR Role Summary: Senior software engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling a high‑performance, cloud‑native platform that enables instant search of audio, video, images, and documents using machine learning. Must deliver reliable APIs and services in Go and Rust while collaborating across DevOps, Security, and Product teams. Expactations: - Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience. - Proven expertise in Go and Rust, with strong knowledge of concurrency, memory safety, and performance optimization. - Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale high‑throughput backend systems and APIs. - Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform). - Strong problem‑solving, code quality, and mentorship skills. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain backend services in Go and Rust, ensuring high performance and scalability. - Design secure, efficient architectures in partnership with DevOps, Security, and Product teams. - Write clean, well‑documented code; conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. - Optimize system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure reliability at scale. - Deploy and manage infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
