Job Title: Solutions Architect
Role Summary
Deliver enterprise‑grade solution architecture for Limits Management and associated credit‑risk functions within a financial institution’s Treasury, Risk, and Finance capabilities. Collaborate with the IT Architecture Team and delivery units to translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment with modern cloud and integration standards.
Expectations
- Act as a technical consultant for large‑scale limits and exposure initiatives.
- Translate business goals into robust architecture artefacts (HLD, LLD, data models, interface specs).
- Validate and assure quality of deliverables across multiple parallel projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in workshops and requirement‑gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Analyse current (“As‑Is”) architecture, including processes, applications, data, and integration points.
- Develop and document desired “To‑Be” architecture directions and migration plans.
- Produce high‑level and detailed design specifications, data models, and interface contracts.
- Assess integration patterns (REST APIs, event‑driven, message queues, ETL, batch) and recommend appropriate patterns.
- Evaluate and recommend credit or limits platforms (Moody’s RiskAuthority, Algorithmics, Wolters Kluwer, Temenos, Finastra, or custom solutions).
- Advise on cloud (Azure or AWS) architecture, API gateways, security services, DevOps, and IaC practices.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience delivering Limits Management, Exposure Management, or Credit Risk solutions in a large bank, IFI, or MDB.
- Deep knowledge of credit‑risk concepts: obligor hierarchy, group exposure, PD/LGD/EAD, concentration risk, country/sector limits, counterparty limits, exposure aggregation.
- Proven track record in end‑to‑end solution architecture covering application, data, integration, and security domains.
- Hands‑on expertise in HLD/LLD creation, data modeling, and interface specification.
- Proficiency with enterprise data models for credit, counterparty, and exposure reporting; familiarity with master data domains (Party, Facility, Instrument, Product, Country, Sector, Ratings).
- Strong grasp of integration design patterns (REST, message queues, event‑driven, ETL, batch).
- Solid understanding of cloud‑native architectures (Azure/AWS) and related services (API gateways, security, DevOps, IaC).
- Experience with industry‑standard credit or limits platforms (e.g., Moody’s RiskAuthority, Algorithmics, Wolters Kluwer, Temenos Infinity/Transact, Finastra, or equivalent).
