Job Description

**Job Title:** Cyber Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise cybersecurity solutions, focusing on threat mitigation, DDoS prevention, and cloud-based security architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and enhance network defenses. **Expectations:** Minimum of prior cybersecurity experience with expertise in network security, threat intelligence, and incident response. Candidates must demonstrate ownership of solutions and adapt to evolving cyber threats. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement and maintain DDoS, bot, and DNS protection systems. - Design and manage Layer 6/7 cybersecurity strategies to defend against cyber threats. - Collaborate with cloud architecture teams to secure GCP, Azure, and Akamai environments. - Automate security processes using tools like Terraform and scripting languages (e.g., Python). - Analyze cyber incidents and contribute to threat intelligence frameworks. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of DDoS mitigation, bot/DNS protection, and network protocols (IP, routing/switching, firewalls, WAF). - Proficiency in cloud-native security (GCP, Azure, Akamai) and automation (Terraform, Python). - Experience with threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and encryption. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical security incidents independently. - Effective communication to support internal stakeholder collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) preferred but not mandatory.
