Job title: Chief Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable back‑end web solutions, driving architectural excellence and team performance through OOP principles and rigorous code standards. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, maintainable software on schedule; mentor junior engineers; collaborate cross‑functionally; ensure alignment with business objectives; continuously improve development processes. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement robust back‑end systems and APIs. - Lead a multi‑discipline software team, setting technical direction and priorities. - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices. - Mentor and coach junior developers to elevate skill levels and performance. - Partner with product, QA, and operations teams to define requirements and ensure successful delivery. - Monitor system performance, scalability, and reliability; drive continuous improvement. - Stay current with emerging technologies, evaluating their fit for business needs.
