**Job Title**
R&D Production Engineer – Business Analyst
**Role Summary**
Business Analyst focused on production engineering for pricing risk engines. Monitor KPIs/SLIs of production libraries, coordinate incident resolution, drive continuous improvement, and act as liaison between IT, business units, and clients.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 3 years experience in investment banking, corporate or financial services.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of financial products, market risk metrics, and service level management.
- Experience leading cross‑functional meetings and workshops.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for risk engine enhancement projects.
- Ensure changes and incidents are documented and executed per IT governance.
- Lead post‑mortem sessions to assess impact, root cause, and corrective action.
- Drive integration of new clients/perimeters: assess needs, set production budgets, provide training, and establish KPIs.
- Continuously improve production chains: performance, monitoring of market‑risk, credit, liquidity, and market data.
- Oversee KYC initiatives and keep client understanding of SLAs, usage, and QoS up‑to‑date.
- Optimize production processes, identify automation or hand‑off opportunities to bolster efficiency and accuracy.
- Set and monitor SLIs and KRIs for risk engine support and IT change: generate weekly and monthly health reports.
- Attend steering and operations committees to present KRIs/SLIs.
- Conduct regular process audits, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements while maintaining compliance.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient with SLIs, KRIs, and KPIs: design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Experience with IT and business teams in offshore/onshore environments.
- Strong facilitation skills: run meetings, workshops, and post‑mortems.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations during change initiatives.
- Analytical mindset for identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements.
- Knowledge of market‑risk products and metrics.
- Comfort with JIRA, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Autonomous, resilient, and client‑service oriented.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or ITIL are preferred but not mandatory.
