Job Description

**Job Title** Fullstack Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality features across the Actian Data Intelligence Platform’s frontend and backend systems. Work collaboratively in an international Agile environment to maintain and extend existing codebases, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure secure, scalable SaaS solutions. **Expectations** - Deliver robust software that meets product requirements and quality standards. - Demonstrate a strong security‑first mindset and adherence to OWASP best practices. - Engage actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices. - Share knowledge through code reviews, design sessions, and internal technical talks. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Co‑design, implement, and maintain new and existing features within the platform. 2. Participate in Agile planning, estimation, pair programming, design, and code reviews. 3. Troubleshoot production incidents, resolve bugs, and improve code quality. 4. Write and maintain technical documentation (design docs, release notes, runbooks). 5. Mentor peers and lead or participate in internal knowledge‑sharing sessions. 6. Collaborate with product, VP of Engineering, and cross‑functional teams in a global setting. 7. Apply DevOps principles using GitHub, Jira, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. 8. Ensure compliance with security standards (OWASP Top Ten, secure Agile lifecycle). **Required Skills** - Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban, Scale Agilist frameworks). - Proficient in Scala, Java, TypeScript and Angular. - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and SaaS architecture. - Cloud knowledge (AWS) and containerization (Docker). - Secure coding practices and familiarity with OWASP Top Ten. - Excellent written & verbal communication in English; knowledge of French is a plus. - Experience with GitHub, Jira, and DevOps tooling. - Analytical mindset with ability to visualise processes. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified ScrumMaster) are advantageous but not mandatory.
