**Job title**
Senior DevSecOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Architect, implement, and secure end‑to‑end infrastructure pipelines. Deliver scalable, secure deployments across Windows and Linux environments, container orchestration, and virtualized clusters while ensuring high availability and rapid incident response.
**Expectations**
- Lead DevSecOps practices across cross‑functional teams.
- Mentor junior DevOps staff and drive continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and maintain IaC pipelines using Ansible and Terraform.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal scaling and resilience.
- Provision Windows and Linux servers on Hyper‑V and Proxmox, guaranteeing HA and performance.
- Integrate security throughout the SDLC: secure CI/CD pipelines, implement scanning, audit tools, and manage network security components (WAF, DNS, VLAN).
- Monitor infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed DevSecOps best practices and secure deployments.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Hyper‑V, Proxmox.
- Advanced Linux and Windows server administration in production settings.
- Network security expertise: WAF, DNS, multi‑VLAN, firewall configuration.
- Experience with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and incident‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership ability.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s +5 (Engineering) in Computer Science, Systems, Networks, or Security.
- 5–7 years of senior DevOps experience with a focus on security and complex infrastructure.
- Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
