Job Description
**Job Title:** HVAC Project Engineer / Project Manager (M/F) **Role Summary:** Lead the design, planning, and execution of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning) projects for residential and commercial buildings from concept through construction hand‑over. Serve as the primary client contact, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with energy and environmental standards, and drive project profitability. **Expectations:** - Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. - Provide technical and environmental guidance, proposing energy‑efficient solutions. - Manage and mentor a small team of engineers and business managers. - Maintain clear communication with owners, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop technical HVAC solutions and feasibility studies. - Perform dynamic thermal simulations (PLEIADES) and occasional manual calculations. - Produce design deliverables: concept notes, detailed design packages, specifications (CCTP, DPGF), drawings, and BIM models. - Oversee project phases from schematic design (Esquisse) to construction reception, monitoring progress against plans. - Supervise a team comprising a HVAC business manager and an electrical business manager. - Coordinate with owners, architects, and construction firms; manage on‑site follow‑up and issue resolution. - Report regularly to senior management on project status, risks, and financial performance. - Ensure compliance with French thermal regulations (RT 2012, RE 2020, RT Ex) and public procurement rules. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in HVAC design office or similar environment (project management, design documentation). - Strong leadership and team‑management abilities. - Proficiency with AutoCAD/Gstar; knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows highly desirable. - Expertise in PLEIADES or equivalent thermal simulation tools. - Solid understanding of thermal regulations and renewable energy concepts. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. - High degree of autonomy and problem‑solving capability. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field. - Professional engineering registration (optional but preferred). - Certifications in BIM, PLEIADES, or Project Management are a plus.
