**Job title:** Country Manager, Edutech
**Role Summary:** Lead the Canadian market for a global edu‑tech audio brand, shaping strategy, driving revenue, and building a high‑performance local team while coordinating with North American and global stakeholders.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver sustainable revenue growth and market share.
- Own financial performance: budgeting, forecasting, P&L.
- Scale brand awareness, e‑commerce, and B2B partnerships.
- Establish and grow a local executive and operational team.
- Ensure smooth product launch and supply chain execution in Canada.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create and execute the Canadian business plan aligned with global goals.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and P&L accountability.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities in marketing, e‑commerce, and B2B channels.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and retail accounts.
- Collaborate with global marketing to design and implement PR, digital, brand, and performance campaigns.
- Manage the Canadian PR agency and local visibility initiatives.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, consumer events, and educational conferences.
- Work with content and product teams to tailor offerings to Canadian consumers.
- Coordinate operational and supply chain activities for market delivery.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to guide strategy.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high‑performing Canadian team.
**Required Skills:**
- 8+ years senior commercial or marketing experience in fast‑growth consumer brands.
- Deep understanding of Canadian consumer behavior and retail landscape.
- Proven success in business development, marketing, and e‑commerce.
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, P&L management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
