Prodeval is leader in treatment and Biogas upgrading from the Anaerobic Digestion of organic waste. The company has developed its technologies for Biomethane production, Bio-CO2 valorization, and BioCNG production and distribution. Its main technologies are based on the Biogas upgrading into biomethane that will be injected into city gas networks or recovered as fuel for BioCNG-equipped vehicles (light, heavy, tractors). Its membrane separation technology enables it to produce high quality Biomethane, with an efficiency of over 99%. PRODEVAL ensures the assembly, installation, commissioning, and complete maintenance of the equipment it supplies, and its solutions cover all the problems related to Biogas in all territories. In 2022, PRODEVAL is certified ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, Qualimetha, and Module H. The company employs more than 350 employees and has a turnover of EUR113 million, 25% of which is generated abroad, with 5 subsidiaries in Italy, Canada, Czech Republic, United States and Germany. Thanks to its international network of technical experts, it can supply 125 upgrading units per year. Since 2019, the training center PRODEVAL FORMATION allow to promote the development of the skills of Biogas actors. Job Description
**Job Title** Data Scientist **Role Summary** Deliver data strategy and analytical solutions for a global renewable-energy company. Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to identify data sources, build predictive models, analyze large datasets, and create dashboards that drive quality and performance improvements. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data science, database, BI, or analytics. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in mathematics, statistics, or a related field. - Fluency in English; French is a plus. - Proactive, self‑motivated, and committed to sustainability and renewable energy initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Group’s data strategy. 2. Identify and acquire relevant internal and external data sets, including structured and unstructured sources. 3. Design, code, and deploy predictive models and algorithms to address complex business challenges. 4. Analyze large volumes of data to extract trends, patterns, and actionable insights. 5. Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders across the organization. 6. Monitor emerging technologies in data science and AI, recommending improvements to processes and tools. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python for algorithm development and data manipulation. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for data storage, processing, and model deployment. - Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques. - Familiarity with big‑data tools and frameworks (e.g., Spark, SQL). - Ability to translate technical findings into clear, stakeholder‑friendly visualizations. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - (Optional) Knowledge of gas‑processing controls, simulation, and storage processes. **Required Education & Certifications** - BAC+5 (Master’s) or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative discipline. - Professional certification in data science, BI, or analytics preferred but not mandatory.
