**Job Title**: Junior Developer **Role Summary**: Maintain and develop software applications, supporting internal clients to achieve departmental goals through effective system analysis and improvements. Contribute to a collaborative team focused on business success. **Expectations**: Analyze system requirements, design solutions, and implement low to moderately complex programs while adhering to software development lifecycle standards. Engage in testing, documentation, and continuous self-improvement on emerging technologies. **Key Responsibilities**: - Analyze, design, code, test, and document applications for internal clients. - Develop and execute unit test plans, diagnose failures, and revise code. - Create technical documentation for development and support teams. - Perform application maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems. - Collaborate on system design reviews to enhance software quality. - Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies. **Required Skills**: - Proficiency in .NET (VB/C#) and SQL. - Experience with MVC framework, Source Code Management, Test Driven Development (TDD), and unit testing (e.g., XUnit). - Strong multi-tasking abilities in deadline-driven environments. - Team collaboration and independent problem-solving skills. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience. - Demonstrated knowledge of programming best practices and software development lifecycle. - Prior team-based and independent work experience.
