**Job Title** Sales Development Representative (Intern/Co‑op Contract) **Role Summary** Engage as the first touchpoint for potential B2B SaaS customers, generating, qualifying and qualifying leads to feed the sales pipeline. Work remotely on a flexible part‑time schedule, collaborating with sales and marketing to optimize outreach and messaging. **Expectations** - Contract position; flexible part‑time to full‑time hours aligned with academic calendar. - Remote‑first environment with occasional in‑person team meetings. - Hourly compensation with performance‑based bonus potential. - Continuous learning through training, mentorship, and hands‑on experience in tech sales. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Prospect & Outreach – research target accounts, execute outbound campaigns via email, phone, and social selling. 2. Lead Qualification – conduct conversations to assess prospect needs and fit for the SaaS platform. 3. Meeting Scheduling – book qualified meetings for Account Executives to advance prospects through the funnel. 4. CRM Management – log all activities and update lead data in HubSpot. 5. Collaboration – coordinate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, share insights, and improve lead generation strategies. 6. Continuous Improvement – attend training sessions, participate in 1:1 mentorship, and apply new techniques to increase outreach effectiveness. **Required Skills** - Strong written and verbal communication in English and French. - Proven ability to research prospects using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and similar tools. - Experience or familiarity with outbound email/call tactics and social selling. - Comfortable using HubSpot CRM to track activities and pipeline status. - Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing time effectively in a remote setting. - Coachable, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback. - Basic knowledge of B2B SaaS sales principles preferred but not mandatory. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in a university or college program (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field). - No specific degree requirement; academic status as a student is mandatory. - No professional certifications required.
