**Job Title:** Product Operations Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead end-to-end new product introduction (NPI), procurement, and supply chain operations to scale hardware product launches, ensuring operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective manufacturing.
**Expectations**
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering; 5+ years in hardware product operations, NPI, and supply chain. Proven expertise in supplier management, design transfer, quality assurance, and project leadership. Strong collaboration across R&D, product teams, and external partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee product lifecycle stages including supplier engagement, prototyping, validation, and launch.
- Execute design transfer to manufacturing, ensuring scalability, cost efficiency, and quality.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, manage procurement processes, and optimize manufacturing timelines.
- Develop quality strategies, compliance documentation, and testing protocols for regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate on logistics partnerships (3PL, freight) and coordinate packaging, labelling, and shipping requirements.
- Build project plans, track milestones, and produce executive reports on supply chain readiness and operational KPIs.
**Required Skills**
- End-to-end NPI process management (design to production).
- Supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Quality management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance (consumer products).
- Proficiency in supply chain tools, ERP/EDI systems, and inventory forecasting.
- Cross-functional stakeholder communication and project management.
**Required Education & Certifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or quality systems (e.g., Six Sigma) advantageous.
