**Job Title:** Supply Chain - Buyer/Planner **Role Summary** Coordinates procurement of materials, parts, and packaging supplies to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance. **Expectations** - Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from initial purchase through delivery. - Support new product introduction by aligning specifications with sourcing teams. - Resolve purchase order discrepancies and optimize procurement strategies. - Maintain procurement systems and documentation for accuracy and compliance. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinate purchasing activities, including order placement, tracking, and revisions. - Update import cost records and maintain databases for purchase orders, vendor details, and inventory. - Negotiate with vendors to align purchase minimums and quality standards. - Collaborate with accounting and suppliers to resolve shipping and invoicing discrepancies. - Provide demand forecasts to suppliers and ensure alignment with production needs. **Required Skills** - Strong procurement and vendor management expertise. - Proficiency in purchase order tracking and inventory management. - Analytical skills for evaluating cost, quality, and delivery performance. - Cross-functional communication to coordinate with product development, accounting, and suppliers. - Proficiency in spreadsheet/database tools (e.g., Excel). **Required Education & Certifications** - Associate degree and 5–7 years of procurement experience in supply chain, or equivalent training and experience. - International purchasing experience required.
