Job Description
**Job Title:** Internship – Numerical & Experimental Aeroacoustics and Noise Control **Role Summary:** Support R&D by conducting numerical simulations and experimental validation of acoustic metamaterial designs, focusing on room acoustics modeling, optimization, and noise‑reduction performance. **Expactations:** - Deliver accurate COMSOL simulation models and analysis reports. - Collaborate with R&D and product teams to translate findings into design improvements. - Meet project milestones for proof‑of‑concept and product development studies. - Communicate results clearly in written documentation and presentations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform COMSOL Multiphysics simulations to optimize material geometry and acoustic performance. - Model and analyze room acoustics for insertion loss and noise‑reduction targets. - Conduct laboratory experiments to validate numerical results. - Assist in proof‑of‑concept studies and contribute to product development cycles. - Document methodologies, data, and conclusions; present outcomes to internal stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with COMSOL Multiphysics (mandatory). - Solid understanding of numerical and experimental acoustics principles. - Basic knowledge of signal processing and material characterization (preferred). - Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and independent problem‑solving abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication in English; French is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program (M1 or M2) in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. - No specific certifications required.
