Job Description
Human Resources Intern Role Summary: Support human resources operations across Canadian and US operations by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, policy research, and process improvement projects. Expectations: Third or fourth-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or Business; committed to an 8-month internship starting January 5, 2026, working 40 hours weekly; not graduating before term completion; must provide work authorization in Canada, three professional references, and clear background check. Key Responsibilities: - Assist recruitment processes, including resume screening, video prescreens, and interview scheduling. - Support onboarding/offboarding for contingent workers in Workday. - Manage HR communications (emails, newsletters, SharePoint/Intranet). - Conduct policy research, document analysis, and process improvement initiatives. - Compile data for HR analytics and reporting. - Coordinate logistics for intern program events. - Build recruitment campaigns using platforms like Handshake. - Complete assigned projects and present findings. - Address ad-hoc analytical tasks and reports. Required Skills: - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook). - Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments. - Capacity to synthesize data and present recommendations. - Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.
