Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Operations Analyst **Role Summary** Provide continuous monitoring, incident response, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure and applications. Operate on a 24/7 shift schedule, ensuring system stability, security, and timely communication with stakeholders. **Expectations** - Full‑time on‑site presence with shift work (typically 3 days on/3 days off). - Must meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program, Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. ITAR requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor infrastructure health using industry‑leading tooling. - Detect, analyze, and respond to cyber security threats and system incidents. - Lead or participate in incident resolution and post‑mortem activities. - Provide real‑time status updates to key stakeholders. - Support regular maintenance, patching, and upgrades to maintain a secure environment. - Document and improve standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and status reporting. - Deliver end‑user support during non‑standard business hours. **Required Skills** - Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and incident response processes. - Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to work under pressure. - Ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and continuous process improvement focus. - Ability to create and manage system documentation and SOPs. - Self‑starter comfortable working independently or within a team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field. - Minimum 1 year of technical support experience. - Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, or equivalent. **Desired Technology Experience** - ManageEngine OpManager, Cisco Meraki, VMware, SCOM, SCCM, Dell EMC Avamar, Dell EMC Networker, Unix, Microsoft Office, Intune, Splunk, ServiceNow. (Not mandatory, but an advantage.)
