**Job Title** Project Engineer Intern – Fall 26 **Role Summary** Assist the Project Manager as a liaison between field and office on multiple construction projects. Support project planning, execution, and closure while maintaining schedules and budgets. Engage in procurement, safety, and quality control activities, and collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and BIM teams to ensure project objectives are met. **Expectations** - Demonstrate high initiative and reliability in a fast‑changing construction environment. - Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders. - Attend daily job site visits, documentation, and team meetings. - Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and safety practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and sustain relationships with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors. - Track material consumption and coordinate delivery, aiming for on‑time project milestones. - Act as an active promoter of the safety culture; monitor local safety compliance and incident prevention. - Participate in the Change Order process, assist with estimating using Accubid, and review subcontract agreements for scope and pricing. - Manage procurement of materials and equipment, including ordering prefabricated assemblies. - Collaborate with the BIM department to support coordination and planning. - Create and maintain detailed job logs (transmittals, submittals, RFIs) and quality‑control records. - Work with superintendents to schedule labor and support project scheduling. - Conduct job site walks to learn trade practices and propose performance improvements. **Required Skills** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Basic math proficiency and data analysis ability. - Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across all organization levels. - Proactive mindset toward continuous process improvement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Enrollment in a bachelor’s program: Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. - Previous construction or internship experience preferred (no specific certification required).
