Job Description
**Job Title**: Integration Support Engineer **Role Summary** Provide technical support for clinical data integrations (EHR/RCM) across database extracts, HL7v2, and FHIR. Deliver rapid, SLA‑driven resolution of integration incidents, maintain documentation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance support workflows and product quality. **Expectations** - Deliver consistent, high‑quality support, meeting or exceeding SLA targets. - Communicate proactively with clients regarding incidents and status. - Maintain rigorous documentation and knowledge assets for scalable support. - Champion compliance with data security and regulatory standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Respond to monitoring alerts and resolve integration errors or downtime events. - Triage and assign incoming support tickets in the ticketing system. - Draft and update interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and integration architecture docs. - Create and refine SOPs, playbooks, and support playbooks. - Proactively monitor integration health; detect and remediate potential issues before impact. - Liaise between Customer Operations and Engineering, escalating complex issues and recommending product improvements. - Coordinate cross‑functional work to ensure scalable, compliant support. **Required Skills** - 2+ years of experience in EHR or healthcare integration (database extracts, HL7v2, FHIR). - Hands‑on SQL and data‑integration troubleshooting. - Proficient with HL7v2/FHIR protocols and integration tooling (e.g., Mirth Connect, Epic Bridges). - Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders. - Self‑motivated, ownership mindset, and proactive problem‑solving. - Experience with incident resolution SOPs and SLA management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred). - Certifications in healthcare interoperability standards (HL7v2, FHIR) or integration engines (Mirth Connect, Epic Bridges) are a plus. ---
