Job Description
**Job Title:** Assistant(e) QHSSE **Role Summary:** Support the QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, Environment) system of a maritime company by monitoring performance indicators, coordinating audits and safety exercises, managing corrective actions, and contributing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate weekly QHSSE reports and dashboards. - Ensure timely planning and execution of internal/external audits and safety drills. - Maintain regulatory documentation and track corrective actions in the compliance software. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on environmental, waste, and process‑improvement projects. - Communicate effectively in French and English, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Collect, analyze, and consolidate QHSSE indicators for vessels; produce weekly performance reports. 2. Design, update, and distribute dashboards and performance metrics. 3. Organize safety drills, schedule internal and external audits, and draft audit reports. 4. Enter, monitor, and close corrective actions in the regulatory tracking system. 5. Assist with document‑control updates, regulatory watch‑keeping, and administrative approvals. 6. Coordinate hygiene and health audits: plan sampling, analyze results, and implement corrective measures. 7. Track environmental KPIs, manage waste‑handling processes, and liaise with procurement, technical, and IT departments. 8. Participate in transversal projects such as reporting digitalisation, automation, and QHSSE process optimisation. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards). - Strong data‑analysis and reporting abilities. - Familiarity with internal maritime or port‑sector software is a plus. - Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities. - Analytical mindset, curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement. - Good command of English (written and spoken); French required for daily operations. - Interpersonal skills to work with diverse internal teams and external auditors. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bac+2 to Bac+3 (e.g., Professional License) in Administration, QHSE, Project Management, Performance Analysis, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in QHSE, audit management, or environmental compliance are advantageous but not mandatory. - Prior experience in a port or maritime environment is beneficial.
