Job title: UX Designer (UX/UI Designer)
Role Summary
Design and refine digital product interfaces and user experiences, transforming complex workflows into intuitive, efficient journeys. Deliver polished, consistent UI across web and mobile platforms, aligning visual style with brand identity while ensuring accessibility and usability.
Expectations
- Produce high‑quality design artifacts that meet functional and aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into user‑centric solutions.
- Iterate rapidly through research, prototyping, and testing to validate design decisions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date design systems and component libraries, ensuring consistency across releases.
- Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, personas, empathy mapping, and usability testing to uncover pain points and opportunities.
- Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) that illustrate user flows and interactions.
- Define information architecture, navigation systems, and layout principles for responsive web and mobile experiences.
- Draft UI specifications, style guidelines, and design tokens for handover to development teams.
- Review product iterations in collaboration with QA, providing constructive feedback on UX/UI quality.
- Stay informed on UX trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, recommending improvements to product roadmap.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
- Strong UI design sense: layout, typography, color theory, iconography, and interaction patterns.
- Experience with prototyping and animation (e.g., Principle, Framer, Lottie).
- Knowledge of responsive design, mobile‑first strategy, and cross‑platform consistency.
- Familiarity with usability testing, A/B testing, analytics, and data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent visual communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with strong written and verbal communication.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, Human‑Centered Design) are a plus.
