Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Cloud Engineer **Role Summary** Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure systems with a focus on scalability, availability, and governance. Collaborate with teams to integrate infrastructure with software development lifecycles and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. **Expectations** - Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS/Azure. - Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell/Python). - Advanced knowledge of DevOps, Agile, cloud governance, and JSON/YAML. - Required AWS/Azure Associate certification or higher. - Willingness to work variable hours and be on-call. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises systems. - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor system health, troubleshoot server/system issues, and ensure security compliance. - Collaborate with teams to configure servers, systems, and applications. - Conduct disaster recovery testing and manage system changes via change control procedures. - Provide technical guidance to junior staff and validate system alignment with business needs. **Required Skills** - Advanced: DevOps/Agile methodologies, cloud migration, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, cloud governance, JSON/YAML. - Intermediate: Cloud networking/security concepts (PCI/SOX/GLBA), TCP/IP, IT management tools (Microsoft Endpoint Manager, BigFix, AWS Systems Manager). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or commensurate experience. - AWS/Azure Associate certification (or higher); AWS/Azure Engineer-level experience preferred.
