Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer
Role Summary: Junior engineer focused on developing, deploying, and scaling machine learning workflows for industrial optimisation. Works on predictive models, anomaly detection, and decision‑support systems using cloud platforms and multi‑modal large language models.
Expectations: Rapid skill growth in ML techniques, cloud infrastructure, and MLOps; collaborate with founders and senior engineers to shape product direction; transform prototypes into production‑ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimise predictive and anomaly‑detection machine learning pipelines.
- Build and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure (GCP, Azure, or AWS) for data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Develop data pipelines for sensor, text, and image modalities; integrate multi‑modal LLMs for real‑time operational intelligence.
- Apply advanced methods such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), reinforcement learning, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Ensure model reproducibility, scalability, and robust monitoring in production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Required Skills
- Advanced Python programming and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn).
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of ML workflow design, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Understanding of MLOps principles: model deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, and reproducibility.
- Exposure to multi‑modal LLMs and emerging AI techniques (RAG, RL, MCP).
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). No mandatory certifications, but familiarity with cloud‑specific certifications (e.g., GCP Data Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning) is a plus.
