Job Description

Job Title: SOC Analyst I Role Summary: Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across enterprise infrastructure to protect against cyber threats and enhance overall security posture. Expectations: - 0–2 years of experience in a SOC or equivalent security monitoring role. - Proactive learning of emerging threats, technologies, and industry best practices. - Operate independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Review security logs, alerts, and telemetry for suspicious activity. - Investigate incidents, document findings, and communicate results to senior analysts. - Execute incident response playbooks to contain and remediate threats. - Perform vulnerability and risk assessments to identify security gaps. - Maintain situational awareness of current threat landscape and trends. Required Skills: - Solid understanding of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, WAF, firewalls). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Adept at interpreting log data and forensic evidence. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Capability to work both independently and as part of a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (preferred). - Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are advantageous but not mandatory.
