Job Description: Job title: Application Specialist – Agro‑Food Sector Role Summary: Provide laboratory and product expertise in clinical and industrial microbiology for the agro‑food and beverage industry. Serve as a technical advisor, support sales and product validation, and train customers on microbiological culturing diagnostics. Expectations: - Deliver expert scientific and technical support to customers. - Collaborate with sales to promote and enable product usage. - Optimize laboratory workflows and ensure accurate microbiological testing. - Conduct remote training and product validation at customer sites. Key Responsibilities: - Act as subject‑matter expert in clinical and quality microbiology procedures, protocols, and best practices. - Respond to customer queries with literature‑based scientific information. - Support the sales team with product demonstrations, technical discussions, and client training. - Provide remote training to laboratory staff on culture‑based microbiological diagnostics. - Advise clients on laboratory workflow design and process optimization to achieve reliable, precise microbiological results. - Assist in product evaluations, validation, and performance verification at client sites. Required Skills: - In‑depth knowledge of clinical or industrial microbiology principles, techniques, and laboratory practices. - Proven laboratory experience with culture‑based microbial diagnostics. - Strong communication and client‑relationship skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly. - Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field (Bac + 3). - Master’s degree (Bac + 5) preferred. - No specific certifications required, but relevant laboratory or quality assurance credentials are an advantage.
