**Job Title:** Information Technology Specialist – IT Asset Management **Role Summary:** Manage the full lifecycle of hardware, software, and cloud assets for multiple client environments. Ensure accurate inventory, cost‑effective licensing, compliance, and seamless onboarding/off‑boarding while collaborating with procurement, finance, and service teams. **Expectations:** - 3‑5+ years experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM/SAM), preferably within an MSP or large enterprise. - Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high data‑security standards. - Strong communication and vendor‑management skills. - Ability to work remotely with occasional on‑site coordination (UK‑based). **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee hardware, software, and cloud asset inventories (HAM, SAM, ITAM). - Optimize license usage, renewals, and cost savings. - Lead compliance activities, audits, and reporting for internal and client accounts. - Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes with data‑security best practices. - Coordinate with procurement, finance, and service teams to streamline operations. - Manage multiple asset‑related projects and ensure timely delivery. **Required Skills:** - In‑depth knowledge of ITAM/SAM processes and software licensing. - Proficiency with asset‑management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, Flexera, Asset Panda). - Advanced Excel/data analysis; scripting knowledge (PowerShell or SQL) a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Strong vendor and stakeholder management abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred certifications: IAITAM (CITAM/CSAM), ITIL Foundation, familiarity with ISO/IEC 19770 standards.
