**Job Title:** Azure Cloud Platform Admin
**Role Summary:**
Senior Azure Cloud Platform Administrator responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise Azure resources using IaC, automation, and DevOps practices. Leads the adoption of data and AI services (Databricks, ADF, Azure AI Studio, Power Platform) and supports advanced AI/ML workloads including OpenAI model deployment, RAG, and chatbot development.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years of professional IT/Cloud experience.
- Proven expertise in Azure infrastructure, operations, and automation.
- Strong programming and scripting abilities in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provision, configure, and maintain Azure resources (VMs, networking, storage) via Terraform and ARM templates.
- Administer and develop Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Databricks notebooks, and Azure Functions.
- Deploy and manage OpenAI models within Azure AI Studio and integrate with application services.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Implement and monitor Azure security, compliance, and cost‑optimization controls.
- Collaborate with data engineering and AI teams to build AI search indexes, document chunking, embedding, and RAG pipelines.
- Provide guidance on ML Ops practices, Azure Machine Learning, and AI search best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Azure infrastructure administration, Terraform, ARM, PowerShell/Bash, Python, PySpark, SQL.
- Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Web Apps, Power Platform.
- CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), Git version control, ARM templates.
- OpenAI model deployment within Azure AI Studio.
- Network configuration, DNS, VPN, Azure Firewall, NSG.
- Experience with data indexing, embedding, RAG patterns for chatbots.
- Familiarity with ML Ops, Azure Machine Learning, MCP servers, AI Search.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Azure certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-303/304 (Azure Solutions Architect), or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in Azure Data Engineer (DP-203), Azure AI Engineer (AI-102) or Databricks Certified—recommended.
