Job Description

Job Title: Azure Infrastructure Specialist Role Summary: Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance through automation and best practices. Expactations: Deliver scalable, secure Azure infrastructure; Automate provisioning with IaC; Monitor and troubleshoot services; Enable remote, independent work; Achieve Azure certification compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Provision and configure Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and networking components using Terraform or ARM templates. - Manage Azure Active Directory, role-based access control, and network security groups. - Implement monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Security Center). - Develop and maintain PowerShell or Python scripts for automation, alerting, and reporting. - Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security incidents; provide root‑cause analysis. - Document architecture diagrams, deployment playbooks, and operational runbooks. - Collaborate with security, compliance, and development teams to uphold governance standards. Required Skills: - Strong command of Azure services (Compute, Networking, AD, Storage). - IaC expertise with Terraform and/or Azure Resource Manager templates. - Network architecture and security concepts (firewalls, VPN, Azure NSG, Azure Firewall). - Scripting proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python. - Experience with Azure monitoring and logging tools. - Problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. - Self‑motivation and capability to work autonomously in a remote setting. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Azure certifications preferred (e.g., AZ-104 Administrator Associate, AZ-305 Solutions Architect Expert).
