**Job Title** Sales Director **Role Summary** Lead sales strategy and operations across a multi‑site business. Deliver and execute a national sales plan, build and manage high‑performance sales teams, and drive sustainable growth by strengthening customer and supplier relationships. **Expectations** - Senior sales leadership experience, preferably in construction, agricultural or related machinery sectors. - Proven commercial insight, negotiation ability and strategic thinking. - Strong leadership and team‑development skills. - Excellent communication, relationship‑building and data‑driven decision making. - Proficiency with CRM and sales‑management tools. - Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and implement the company’s national sales strategy in construction and agricultural divisions. - Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales managers and executives across multiple depots. - Set clear performance targets, monitor progress and ensure accountability. - Strengthen and expand relationships with key customers and suppliers. - Identify new market opportunities while maintaining profitability. - Analyze performance data to guide decision making and improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with executive leadership on pricing, stock planning and brand representation. - Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions and key client visits. **Required Skills** - Senior sales leadership and industry domain knowledge. - Strong commercial and negotiation acumen. - Leadership, coaching and performance management. - Exceptional written and verbal communication. - Strategic planning with hands‑on execution. - Data analysis and reporting proficiency. - CRM and sales‑management tool expertise. - UK driving licence and travel flexibility. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field (preferred). - Professional certifications in sales management or leadership (e.g., Certified Sales Executive, Strategic Sales Management) are advantageous.
