Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Product Manager, Global Rare Diseases **Role Summary** Lead the development and execution of global marketing strategies for rare disease products, ensuring patient‑centric messaging, brand equity, and commercial success. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable impact on brand awareness, patient engagement, and sales performance in alignment with commercial goals. - Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives across marketing, medical, sales, and regulatory teams. - Manage budget, forecasts, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop patient and HCP‑focused branded campaigns and messaging, including MLR review and compliance. - Lead creation of sales force materials and training programs. - Collaborate with insights, business knowledge, and medical teams to identify patients and caregivers, generating lead/activation plans. - Oversee launch execution for field teams, ensuring alignment with implementation plans. - Manage agency relationships and analytics reporting. - Track and report on KPIs for field execution and HCP promotional activities. - Support forecasting, performance monitoring, and budget management in line with commercial plans. - Facilitate peer‑to‑peer programs and support events/congresses. **Required Skills** - Strong patient‑first mindset and deep understanding of rare disease patient needs. - Proven brand strategy and tactical execution experience in academia‑based or commercial pharma. - Advanced project management with experience leading multi‑functional, cross‑border initiatives. - Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, and stakeholder engagement. - Ability to navigate medical/legal/regulatory review processes. - Analytical acumen, strategic thinking, creativity, and business insight. - Team player capable of independent work and collaboration in a matrix environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a relevant field. - Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in direct product marketing and 1 year in leadership of sales or marketing activities. - Experience in US market marketing and rare disease focus preferred. - Proficiency in market research, sales analytics, and budgeting.
